Poll question: Do you want to see John Edwards as Senator Obama's running mate?
I personally do not because, although I'm a fan of John Edwards, there are better choices out there.

4. I dont know
I think this year he could actually put Obama ahead in NC, but I know there are also other candidates out there. I like that he is known to the public, and that there messages mesh well.

5. I'd rather see him as AG
Even though Obama has no interest in prosecuting BushCo... which is pretty lame.

I think Edwards would do very well as AG. The bar has been lowered so far, it will need raised back up many, many notches!

Napolitano? Has that been rumored at all?
I'd love it, but you're the first person I've seen lately mention it.

9. I would certainly support that ticket without hesitation
But I believe John Edwards will be a better Attorney General than a vice president.

10. There are better picks...
Edited on Wed May-14-08 06:53 PM by BayouBengal07
1.) It's not politically savvy to take the 2004 losing candidate we were told could deliver the South but lost his own state (not trying to knock JE, but it happened).

2.) If he wants a white southern Democrat, he can pick one with foreign policy and military experience to go after McCain with- Clark (Clinton ally, Vietnam vet, Supreme Allied Commander of NATO), Webb (Vietnam vet, Reagan's Sec'y of the Navy, son in Iraq), Nunn, etc.

I like the guy, but we're running against a candidate capitalizing on foreign policy (even if his ideas are ass backwards) and military experience.

12. I would prefer somebody with foreign policy/military creds.
Richardson, Wes Clark, Jim Webb have been mentioned.

13. Just give me a Democrat with a message of hope and change
in the White House and I'll trust their judgment on VP pick. Fill DC with democrats with integrity.

14. I would vote for this ticket but...
I think the O needs to choose very carefully someone who can help unite the party after the disgusting HRC fantasy trip.
