Who is Jerome Corsi? (Kerry Swift boat liar -- delicious post!)
Edited on Fri Aug-06-04 04:44 PM by oldhat
Who is Jerome Corsi, the co-author of that bullshit book about John Kerry and the swift boat? Why, a hate-filled Freeper who spews racism and bile everywhere, of course!

http://mediamatters.org/items/200408060010

• Corsi on Islam: "a worthless, dangerous Satanic religion"

• Corsi on Catholicism: "Boy buggering in both Islam and Catholicism is okay with the Pope as long as it isn't reported by the liberal press"

• Corsi on Muslims: "RAGHEADS are Boy-Bumpers as clearly as they are Women-Haters -- it all goes together"

• Corsi on "John F*ing Commie Kerry": "After he married TerRAHsa, didn't John Kerry begin practicing Judiasm? He also has paternal grandparents that were Jewish. What religion is John Kerry?"

• Corsi on Senator "FAT HOG" Clinton: "Anybody ask why HELLary couldn't keep BJ Bill satisfied? Not lesbo or anything, is she?"

...snip...

Corsi is also a frequent participant in FreeRepublic.com's online forums, posting under the pseudonym "jrlc" since 2001.

1. See guys this is why I defend the Catholic Church because many on the
right have disgusting smears of it. BTW thats sick shit about Kerry's Jewish background, many people in fact I have my suspicions about my own family have hid their judaism and converted to Catholicism, Kerry's great grandfather Fritz Kohn became Fredrick Kerry because he changed his name and converted faiths.

2. WAIT JUST A DANG GONE MINUTE: FREE REPULIIC IS INVOLVED?????????
From your link above:

On August 6, Salon.com's Joe Conason documented links between Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and the conservative online forum www.FreeRepublic.com. Conason noted that the designer of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth website is Robert A. Hahn, a director of the Free Republic Network, a conservative activist organization affiliated with FreeRepublic.com. Scott Swett, who is listed as the webmaster of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth website, swiftvets.com, also appeared on FOX News Channel host Sean Hannity's August 5 radio show to discuss the group. Swett posts frequently to FreeRepublic.com, using the pseudonym "Interesting Times," and is also a director of the Free Republic Network. The wintersoldier.com website to which Swett has contributed articles is a project of the Free Republic Network.

8. Yep. We hit this story last night.
Now that Brock has it put together we ALL have to spread it around and NAIL these creeps even further.

This could force both Swift Vets and Free Republic to be investigated.

9. you guys are good researchers
heh I am a mere amateur compared to you all. Pretty interesting that FR and Swift Boat vets are connected, I share RR's question about Corci's background though, it does sound very Italian doesnt it? and Italians as we know are mostly Catholic, and this guy seems to have it out for Kerry for being originally Jewish and the Catholic church overall. Hope, we nail these fucks.

I just don't understand why someone whom is appalled by another's venom is so quick to spew their own venom. I am a "Born Again" Christian and an ordained minister at that. I'm not going to judge you because your beliefs might be different than mine. I would ask that you not sink to Corsi's level of hatred in retaliation to his lack of character.

Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 01:09 AM by janx
Here is both the photo and the unsurprising source page ("freepnet"):

http://ice.he.net/~freepnet/kerry/staticpages/index.php?page=20040531140357545

Edit: If you scroll down a bit on the source page, you will find the following paragraph:

On Fox News' Hannity and Colmes show on Friday, May 28, 2004, Rear Admiral Roy Hoffman (USN, Retired) accused John Kerry of being a traitor because of his anti-war activities. This photo, which demonstrates the extent to which the Vietnamese communists acknowledge that he supported them during the Vietnam War, corroborates this charge. (Hoffman, the former commander of the Swift Boat force and one-time Kerry's superior officer, is Chairman of Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth (SwiftVets.com).

Now I ask you: How, in anyone's stretch of any kind of imagination, does this photo demonstrate the extent to which the Vietnamese communists acknowledge that Kerry supported them during the Vietnam War, and how on earth would it corroborate ANY charge?

Ir ead the article, btw Hoffman is a part of the swift boat crew that put that ad out, Kerry was no fan of him it seems. I cant answer your question but I do recall that Kerry and McCain got their Vietnam trade normalization bill signed, you would think that calling the opposition a communist was a thing of the past but the right wing has the same tired tricks.

http://www.johnkerry.com/about/john_kerry/bio.html

As chairman of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs, he worked closely with John McCain to learn the truth about American soldiers missing in Vietnam and to normalize relations with that country. As the ranking Democrat on the East Asian and Pacific Affairs Subcommittee, he is a leading expert on that region, including North Korea.

Those were some of his most noteworthy accomplishments in the Senate, along with Iran/Contra, AIDS work, and BCCI.

Here is a picture you likely won't find over at freeperland:

38. Here's the key part to that picture:
According to a AP newswire report carried in The Chronicle-Telegram of Elyria, Ohio, on July 17, 1993, a US delegation headed by US Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Hershel Gober, was in Vietnam on a mission sent by President Clinton, to deliver to the Vietnamese microfilm of some 3 million captured Vietnam War documents that pertained to finding American POWs and MIAs. The newspaper states that the mission was scheduled to meet with Communist Party General Secretary Do Muoi.

The reports do not confirm that Senator Kerry was part of the US delegation; however, in his press release of July 2, 1993 announcing the formation of the delegation, President Clinton mentioned John Kerry and noted that "Members of Congress and representatives of veterans groups have traveled to Vietnam to press for the goal" of resolving the fate of American service personnel who did not return from Vietnam. There is ample documentation that John Kerry has met with General Secretary Do Muoi. The Far Eastern Economical Review of February 11, 1999 notes that Senator Kerry met with Do Muoi when he visited Hanoi in December 1998. In a speech given on the Senate Floor on April 29, 1992 Senator Kerry discussed in detail a meeting he had recently had with Do Muoi in Vietnam to discuss the fate of American POWs and MIAs. A photo widely circulated on the Internet shows John Kerry formally posed with Do Muoi.

34. HOW DARE THEY !
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 08:28 AM by NicRic
Iam beginning to believe that perhaps months ago the repugs realized they could not avoid John Kerry's milatary record being brought up ,I mean its a no brainer for the Dems ,Kerry has a milatary record to be proud of ,and even better he realized that the war was wrong and he had the ability to be a deep thinker , and speak what was on his mind reguardless of the fallout ! Then on the other side you have a non-leader that is a non thinker, and to top it off a questionable milatary record. As I started to state the repugs decided since this subject will come up ,the way to deal with it was by attacking Kerry's milatary record as bogus. The gall of them, and even more distrubing is the lack of anyone on their side standing up and saying how wrong this is,and any repug endorsing this kind of negative ,lying campaign, needs to be put in their place ! How dare they say anything bad about Kerry's milatary record ,when bush could not even finish a stint in the National Guard, without screwing that up. Someone needs to put a end to this B/S, all I can keep saying is HOW DARE THEY !
