The Fox All Stars Are Full Of Excrement
Edited on Fri Aug-06-04 06:15 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
I'm watching the Fox All Stars with Fred Barnes, Bill Kristol, Charles Krauthammer, ans some fellow named Angel...

They are trying to spin the jobs report and saying the Bush 2001-2004 economic performance was as good as the 1993-1996 economic performance and offer as proof that the GDP figures, manufacturing job growth and unemployment rates are the same or better now then they were in 96...

Yes the unemployment rate in 08/96 was 5.5% then and now but it was 7.2% when Clinton was inaugurated and 4.0% when Bush was inaugurated... Clinton created 8,000,000 jobs in his first term Bush hasn't created one...

Yes the unemployment figures are the same now and then but Clinton brought down the unemployment 1.7% while Bush brought up the unemployment figures by 1.5%. Clinton created 8,000,000 jobs in his first term....

6. It Wasn't 9% When He Was Inaugurated...
It reached 10.8 % in 1982 when Volcker was keeping interest rates high to wring the inflation out of the economy.....

8. You Are Right...
but a person is entitled to his own opinions not his own facts.....

The Clinton economic performance versus the Bush economic performance of the past four years is like the New England Patriots fottball performance of the last four years versus the Arizona Cardinals....
