Are you supporting a record store that supports Bush?
After seeing a shrub standup at my local FYE record store, I posted my dissatisfaction and the fact that I am contacting the company. I wasn't surprised that another DUer saw the same thing in Albany, NY.
So if you've been in an FYE store, Spec's, Coconuts, or others, did you notice a life size stand up of our soon-to-be ex-President?
They are for sale, so I guess that's the explanation they will give, but they don't appear to be selling John Kerry standups.

Please check your local record stores. Or you can just email this exec at Trans World Entertainment, the parent company, to let them know you won't be buying your cd's from them anymore. It's a little thing, but if a lot of people contact them, they may reconsider giving * this free publicity.

Here is the email for John Sullivan, VP of Trans World

4. We got one
for a relative's 80th birthday. She hates Bush! It was a surprise for her. The cutout was revealed, and we pelted Bush with tomatoes, eggs, and a paint gun. It was quite satisfying.

Perhaps these people are on our side, and they're providing the cutouts for our enjoyment

7. This is why I only shop at independent stores
The one down here as well as my favorite one in Minneapolis also sell anti-Bush shirts. Another good one in Minneapolis has a big Kucinich banner and NO WAR ON IRAQ banner on the window.

8. hey I saw that same one in Albany
I was tempted to buy it and make some kind of sign with it. Sending the $15 bucks to the DNC is money better spent however.
