John Kerry Is Not The First JFK To Have His War Record Challenged
Edited on Fri Aug-06-04 07:36 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
Even though they made a movie of John Kennedy's World War 2 exploits called PT 109 with Cliff Robertson playing the young lieutenant Kennedy some questioned Kennedy's action which led to his PT 109 boat being cut in half...

Specifically they criticised the then Lieutenant Kennedy for leaving the motor on his PT 109 boat on while it was wading making it easier to detect in violation of Navy policy.....

Never mind that this policy didn't go into effect until years later...

What's the moral of this story...

I believe Kerry risked his life to save his fellow crewmate...

Who knows exactly what happens in the fog of war....

1. And isn't it really odd
that Daddy Bush's record was never challenged. Sure we all know about it and the story is out there but it's never been really discussed as far as I know.

2. You Mean That Daddy Bush Ditched His Plane Prematurely
dooming his copilot...

Who knows?

I'll give Papa Bush his props and attribute the confusion to the fog of war.....

Same thing with Bob Kerrey.. He won the Medal Of Honor and some accuse him of war crimes....

Even Wes Clark was accused of civilian targeting....

I'll give them all their props and the benefit of a doubt....
