What is the upshot on the letter sent to Media groups airing the

What is the upshot on the letter sent to Media groups airing the
Swift Boat Ads. I saw a letter on one of these threads yesterday by the Lawyers for the DNC and it stated that the Ad was Libel and Slander and that unless the Media wanted to be held accountable, to withdraw the Ads. I have not seen any thing else about this. Have any Media pulled the Ads? Has this letter gotten any publicity. I don't do Cable News so I am somewhat in the dark unless it is mentioned here.
