I think the last nail in *'s coffin might be hammered in right now
remember, in 1980 Carter was considered to have a good chance at reelection despite all the problems and the election was expected to be close. And most early polls showed it as so. But when the election neared, it all fell apart, and even though Carter wasn't really to blame, he paid the price.

This is starting now. The swift boat liars' ad is backfiring, economic indicators just spelled terrible news for *, Kerry is gaining, Iraq is showing no signs of improvement, ect. And the polls aren't so tight anymore. Kerry has basically all states he had to defend pretty secure, especially PA and MI, and now * is the one who has to go on the defensive to save MO, NV, FL and OH. NH and WV may very well be lost already. And there's no sign of improvement. Not if the cost of oil keeps increasing, and baring some magical event, nothing is going to clear up Iraq. And the smear campaigns on Kerry aren't working anymore.

Time to boot the sorry dumbass out and bring in someone with courage and intelligence who can fix these problems. And soon, the people may realize that.

8. You Are So Right....
The only thing that can change the dynamic is a terrorist attack....

There is no crystal ball to advise how people would react...

Would they blame Chimpy for letting it happen or would they rally around him....
