Subject: Bush stupidity at the Minority Journalist convention today

A native American journalist asked Bush what he thought was meant by Native American sovereignty. the answer was such that a roar of laughter was heard. this needs to be snipped out and played on the Kerry campaign. It would be impossible to describe it. You must see it to believe it.

Best regards,

John Tyson

6. A Must MUST SEE

My jaw just dropped during the whole thing.

None of his little jokes got laughs.

His personality disorders were highlighted to the max.

He is so ready to tell people how to think. It amazes me that someone that is so stupid will try to prove that he knows how to break down the English language. He holds onto each word in the sentence and talks to the audience like they are in Pre - School.

What an insult he is to our country.

Thank you to this Convention for inviting him to speak.
Their questions were right on target!
The so called Majority Media could take a class in journalism from these true journalist. They should receive an award for their efforts. For the first time, he was asked HARD questions.

14. Do you know if they're re-running Kerry, as well?
I managed to watch and record bush yesterday - my husband and I were mesmerized... I find it incomprehensible that anyone would vote for that poor excuse for a man... and it was obvious that he didn't have a clue why he wasn't receiving applause for each and every line. He's so used to his pre-selected, pre-screeened audiences, he simply has no idea that he isn't adored the world over!

ANYWAY, I had seen about a minute of Kerry's talk the previous day, and would really like to see and record that one, as well (nice little contrast to show to my freeper 'friends').

and no, because of my slodem, I can't watch it on C-SPAN.org :(

2. link on either Letterman of the Daily show
I saw it. I can't remember where. It was either Letterman or John Stewart/The Daily show. What an idiot. He needs to stop answering questions from the press. I thought he would stop but he just kept talking and digging the hole deeper.

10. pro & con
I teach Special Ed., so I do have some compassion. He needs help. The more he speaks, the more it is obvious it did not earn his job. He is such a village idiot. On the other hand I love Letterman's daily Bush slams. I am amazed at how my Repug fans always make excuses for his behavior. I always pass on his speech difficulties to die-hard fans of Bush. Bush needs to be defeated. He is the axis of evil. I hate Bush!

9. Can you just imagine the answer

13. Ovation to end the pain

They were really clapping to ease the pain.
How difficult it was to sit through all that nonsense.

12. Kerry did speak to the group
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 01:21 PM by moonkee2
the day before and he discussed sovereignty in his prepared remarks. He didn't need to wait for a quesiton. Needless to say, he did understand the concept. It is worth it to track down the transcript, I think they are available at the Washington Post website. The contrast between the two speeches is remarkable. Additionally, the contrast between the reception for Bush and the reception for Kerry is clear even from the transcripts.
