Kerry & Bush in Las Vegas
Bush will follow up Kerry's visit this Thursday in Las Vegas. His appearance will be only open to the press. I am sure the press will spin this as a great appearance. I guess the hecklers are finally getting to him. He can't handle crowds......STRESSFUL

Kerry comes to town this Tuesday. Tickets are free and open to the public. I printed mine off the Internet. The venue is the Thomas & Mack ( UNLV campus ) with a capacity of 17,000. Kerry is not scared of the crowds......

Kerry loves crowds.....no stress

1. Getting Tickets
Maynard..Kerry is also coming to Medford, Oregon this Thursday and I was wondering how you obtained tickets. I called the campaign office, but they didn't have much information, but they did say they may restrict it (how would they do that?) to Oregonians (I live near the border in California, and darn it, I'll never see him if I can't see him in Oregon). Is one required to show an id at the event? Do they ask for your address over the internet; does the event show up on the kerry's campaign website? I can't find a thing so far and want to prepared!

3. Local TV station provided a link
It went to the John Kerry website.
I did have to give name and address.
It printed out ticket, event date, and my name. I was able to get up to 4 admissions on one ticket. My name was also on the ticket

My local teacher union also had tickets.
The local Dem office also had tickets.

7. What is this with them being in the same town all the time.
This is about the 3rd time in a week or so, isn't it? Who is following whom?

I wouldn't be surprised if Kerry followed him just to show how different their appearances are.

9. Bush is trying to undermine Kerry
He is trying to steal Kerry's thunder. Someone else here said that Bush is playing "Follow the Leader!"

8. Here's the link

I got 4 tix. The only problem I had was printing the voucher. I got blank pages when I tried to print. I ended up taking a screen shot of the window and printing that (I'm on a Mac...that may be the problem).

10. thanks for the link
I printed out my tickets at 11:20 p.m. I didn't get a border on my tickets, but I got what I needed to get in on Tuesday. If the doors open at 4:00, when does the actual speech begin?
