How will the Olympics affect the Polls?
Assuming there is no terrorist attack, how will the election affect the campaign? It could distract from a lot of negative things going on in Iraq or the economy and provide a patriotic boost for Bush.

1. I don't know
If he gets any boost, it would be temporary. And the Olympics are overseas, not in this country, so it's not the same.

3. People will have that American spirit during the Olympics
but it will be short lived. Especially after they realize that they're still paying outrageous prices for gas, some are still unemployed, the war in Iraq is still going on....I think you all get the point.

4. i should think watching all the security needed in Greece some folks
will make the leap that we are not safer. Thanks to chimpy and his messed up Iraq jaunt we are much less safe.

I think it may end up hurting him on a subconscious level

6. Bush is no patriot, neither are those who vote for him. They're royalists.
They want King George, a plutocrat and his theocratic accomplices who cannot be questioned.
