Courtesy of Hoffmania and the Kerry campaign.

Now wait one minute. Did those people sign a loyalty oath?

How can you have an effective campaign without loyalty oaths?

What a wonderfully warm photo.

1. I'm not trolling, but..
If that photo was of Laura Bush would you still be calling it a "wonderfully warm photo"?

2. Laura bush is incapable of that sort of informality....
she'd be sitting bolt upright.... hoping that all these kids had signed to loyalty oath

3. I agree with liberalitch saying that Laura Mars
is incapable of letting herself be photographed in such a pose. The point that I was really trying to make is that Teresa seems to be able to talk with all people, and is welcomed into groups. Kids show discomfort immediately, and these kids seem to be enjoying the visit as much as Teresa.

7. I would. But in all the years I've had to observe Mrs. Bush
both as first lady of my state and the country, I've never seen her in a candid post like this one. She looks more like the prim librarian -- which she is what she used to be. And that's fine, by the way. She is who she is.

Interesting comment for your first post, considering you're not trolling and all. Welcome to DU!

6. Yup, Yup
You could just tell she's like that, if you watch her actions and actually listen to her speak unlike the repukes and the right-winged media who just want to talk about her "big mouth".

At least T is a woman of great strength, class, integrity, intelligence, unlike the current "lady" in the White House.
