Why won't Kerry release his service records?

Due to illness and problems at work (which is probably why I'm ill), I've been out-of-the-loop in checking DU in detail. A "friend" e-mailed me a link to an obnoxious web page that accuses Kerry of not just lying about his war record, but also being responsible for the Cambodian holocaust, boat people.... I'm surprised he wasn't accused of being at the Grassy Knoll.

I know that nothing Kerry says will stop some people from believing this tripe, and we could say that Kerry shouldn't release his record until Cheney releases the documents on the energy meeting. Has Kerry said why he won't release the records--- or has he released them and this is yet another lie. As I said, I'm behind in my reading. Thanks.

...but they include glowing evaluations by some of the same nutsacks now making slanderous accusations about him. But when he spoke out against the war, some of them just snapped. They haven't been the same since. Deflated, impotent, bitter old men.
