Poll question: The Invasion Of The Chicken Little Wing Of The Democratic Party...
Edited on Sun Aug-08-04 07:04 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
These "sky is falling" Democrats are tripping me out... Come on fellow Democratic boys and girls we need in the words of our esteemed former Secretary Of State Madeline Albright "cahones" in dealing with these charlatans, mountebanks, and common criminals...

The swift boat ad smells of desperation.... You can smell the fair of the cretins who cooked it up.... As my good friend, Dr. Funkenstein says this won't play in Peoria... The only people this will play with it are the folks who believe Vince Foster was laying the wood to Hillary Clinton and that Bill Clinton was running drugs out of a Little Rock airport... The four people who believe this might decide the next winner of American Idol but not our next president...

Thomas Jefferson said "the price of freedom is eternal vigilance".

We should all be vigilant but lets not be scared of Karl Rove and his mendacious minions...

For the love of God just look at that soft tub of goo....

What best describes your view of the Bush team?

1. 3 & 4
Things have happened in this country the last 3 years that I never could have imagined. So I say "a weak man with a gun is the most dangerous". I also say it's time for cajones. Forget everything they're saying and doing, polls, pundits, all of it. Arm yourself with the truth and voter registration cards. Every day is a new day in the battle and we just have to dig down and say "Bring It On". We're up to the challenge!

2. I wonder

how did McCain's followers and supporters feel about the dirty
tricks and lies in South Carolina in 2000. Did they feel
like they had Bush on the ropes and the crap from KKKarl's brownshirts
smelled of desperation? Did they feel a little overconfident?

Never overestimate the intelligence of the average person.

4. I Respect John McCain...
John McCain wasn't doomed by the attacks in South Carolina but was doomed by the fact that he was running for the presidential nomination of a party that believes in primogeniture...

3. Al Gore chose to ignore the smear campaign in 2000. It wasn't a good idea.
republicans aren't in business to lose elections.

5. Those Punks Don't Scare Me...
Al Gore lost because he ran a stupid campaign....

He never figured out how to run on the Clinton record of peace and prosperity while separating himself from Clinton's personal failings.....

8. Here's another thought...
I voted for 5. I'm getting more hopeful all the time. The debates should really seal the deal. However, if Bush pulls this election out by whatever means, it's all just beginning. Nothing is over. The huge and ever-growing number of people who are absolutely horrified by this administration are focusing on removing him electorally as we should be. If he were to retain office there's going to be a new era of dissent that we haven't seen in 30 years and probably more effective and more violent than the last one, as the administration tries to put it down. This nation is going to explode if Bush wins. I'm convinced of that.

10. It's true.
I have never felt this way about politics or my country before, and I am pretty mainstream. GOTV efforts are like a part-time job for me right not. I don't even like to think about what will happen if Bush is re-selected.

I also feel that even if Kerry wins, the work has just begun. It is going to take a huge amount of effort and pressure from average citizens to get this train back on track. We have got to get special interest out of the political process. We have got to get people decent wages. We have got to get people decent health care.

9. It seems like their
evil ways are catching up with them. Dirty tricks that have always worked in the past are backfiring big time. They are still defending thir bogus terra 'lerts. The swift boat ads are being debunked in the mainstream press. And they have no past accomplishments to run on and no ideas for the future, save for their already failing policies. Oh, also, the economy is tanking again and we can't cut taxes anymore, we can't lower interest rates. The only thing left is to try a new economic strategy, and that means John Kerry.
