Do Democrats need to "double up" on ad buys this week ??
I heard on NBC (Chris Matthews Show) that the Bush campaign plans on breaking out their 11-minute negative ad about Kerry this week. fineman mentioned that it was already on the Net and was planned to go to TV this week? Should the Dems be prepared to respond witn an aggressive ad campaign of their own. And I mean "aggressive"....Is this the time for Move-On.org to slap Bush really hard?

2. Yes. Kerry is in danger of getting Gored.
Don't worry about the money. If they are doing a good job, the money will be limitless.

3. An 11 minutr negative ad?
How or where would you broadcast such a thing. Certainly the average voter wouldn't sit thru an 11 minute ad for anything.

5. My Question Exactly
It used to be common to see five minute ads. Now you don't even see those. I can't understand where an 11 minute ad would go.

6. The plan is to get parts of the "mini-movie" into the mainsteam media
using thier operatives like Hannity et al as well as making
a news story with an innovative big buy for showing in movie
theaters as a "trailer."

7. If I paid $8 or so for a movie ticket...
...and had to sit through an 11 minute Kerry bashing infomercial, I would immediately demand my money be returned. The movie theater approach would backfire horrifically.

Political infomercials are a fad that died with Perot in 1992. Nobody's gonna watch that crap.
