WASHINGTON — A former Air Force chief of staff now living in Oregon will be part of a “truth squad” that has pledged to defend Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry from attacks by President Bush’s re-election campaign.

“I know John Kerry. Kerry is an absolute straight-shooter,” retired Gen. Merrill “Tony” McPeak of Lake Oswego said Tuesday.

Members of the 20-person group will shadow the Bush campaign, including attending the Republican National Convention later this month in New York, to defend Kerry’s record and challenge Bush’s. A Republican “truth squad” hit the Democrats’ convention last week in Boston.

Recently they formed a Truth Squad consisting of some of those you mentioned, senators, economists, etc. I do not have the link.

it's all pugs, all the time on the chat shows and most news

they need to MAKE news

FORCE their voices to be heard

blogs, blastfaxes, and press releases, unless they're offered by pugs, have little/no effect on media

we MUST go over their heads, and give them EVENTS

maybe out of work actors can stage stuff, but their scripts can BE the Kerry truth squad material

something with more PUNCH
