When Alan Keys Refused to Run In New York against Hillary
He disparaged Hillary Clinton for running somewhere where she did not live. I need that quote so that I have something polite to say to the next Republican who scolds me for "not supporting my fellow Black man," and because hypocrisy irks me.

2. the quote is:
"I deeply resent the destruction of federalism represented by Hillary Clinton's willingness go into a state she doesn't even live in and pretend to represent people there, so I certainly wouldn't imitate it."

He said it on Fox news. http://www.talonnews.com/news/2004/august/0805_keyes_senate.shtml

4. Keyes is no fellow
he's a right wing hate monger. Obama on the other hand is a well spoken upstanding intelligent man. I would be honored to support him if I lived in Illinois.

6. Alan Keyes has parachuted in behind enemy lines to shore up his side
Problem is, the Democrats aren't the enemy in this case as Obama's win is a foregone conclusion.

The battle that has opened up in Illinois is the first shot in a GOP Civil War, Moderates vs. Conservatives.

Illinois is the front line in this war, and I get a front row seat to watch the games!

7. Alan Keyes
has an ego the size of Nader. He loves to hear himself speak.

This guy sounds like he'd run for an open senate seat in any state.

He seems like he's the definition of the perpetual candidate. Always running for something. Always losing.
