4. I love that 17% think that IL is too conservative for Keyes
I read that as saying that 17% of the repubs in IL are too racist to vote for a black fellow like Keyes.

9. As a CA resident who lived through the recall
Maybe I am a pessimist at heart, but please don't be overly cocky. I know that this situation is different, but we laughed when the recall started. First it was, "they will never get enough signatures for the ballot". Then it was, "the good people of CA would never elect a muscle-headed action movie star to run the 5th largest economy in the world". Look where it got us.

Can I donate to Obama even though I am not an IL resident? We had better ensure that the IL Dems continue to work hard. Don't under-estimate the power of money and our corporate media. And....

DO THEY HAVE DIEBOLD MACHINES IN IL?

14. I live in Illinois...
I voted in the primary.
I voted for Obama.
I am outraged that the pig Hastert machine brought in this ringer. I can spot sincerity a mile off and this rascal reminds me of the former mayor of East St. Louis. It often puzzles me how people can be so absolutely dim-witted and then I remember that 70% of the population fit the description of clinically insane. My only comfort in this sordid situation is that Barack O. really needs a little competition, since many people would view him as illegitimate if he just walked into the senate unopposed. The other downside is that the media machine will make even more money. Rant switch will now be turned back off(splutter, sputter, deep breath).
