Creatures like this, and the eugenics critter running for Congress in Tennessee, should be held up as prime examples of genus republicanus, differing only from the rest by being honest and speaking what is truely in their hearts. This has the advantage of being truthful, after all: it really is the only difference. What Keyes says, the typical Republican really feels, only he lacks the courage and shamelessness to shout it out like Keyes does.
