Question for Illinois DU'ers regarding Senate race
Is there any possibility of Keyes splitting the Black vote? I know he's crazier that a fucking hoot owl, but just thinking of this gives me the jitters.

2. African Americans
have not split their votes when Republicans have put up African Americans before. Just look at the Sories-Rush Holt race in New Jersey two years ago.

4. I'm sure Fundie nuts come in all colors.
If anti-choice is your issue he's your man. I don't believe there is a large group of one issue voters, this will show what our state is made of.

5. I can't believe that the Illinois Republican party was is this stupid
Surely they could have found a more moderate voice in their party who actually lives in the state. This is a fucking Kamikaze mission. After a few weeks of this loose cannon, they'll regret they ever dug themselves into this. I'm sure moderate Republicans will sit on their hands for this one.

7. But the wreckage will be removed
and no one from the state goes down in flames. They don't care about Keyes, they are following W's lead and dividing the country.

6. Fat chance, HUGE fat chance
Obama is an African-American who has ACTUALLY served them. Plus, even if by some chance Keyes split the black vote, I feel that he won't get ANY support downstate where people don't take well to people from up north, LET ALONE people from Maryland!
