Not surprising. A Conservative caller to Tammy Bruce stated that he had been to Barnes and Noble, Borders and online to Amazon. Kerry's book from the 70's,THE NEW SOLDIER, where the cover is of four Dirtbags desecrating the flag,could be purchased, but was not on display. You could not buy the cover.

Edit: I just looked at the B&N site, and they seem to have corrected it. The first time I saw the new cover, but the second time I saw the old one.

If you scroll down on the first page of the Free Republic thread, you'll see it a few times. They changed the title from "UNFIT FOR COMMAND" to "FIT FOR COMMAND"!

I was going to order Unfit for Command by Vietnam Veterans, yet, I found that your online store decided to take literary license with the authors' publication and change the title to better suit your propaganda pursuits.

How would I ever know you had not changed parts of a book I purchased from Barnes & Noble?

Guess I will make a trip and see for myself whether a bookstore has "altered" a book before I purchase it.

What utter despicable propaganda by a bookstore. I will not be using your store in the future.
