Churchill kin fights Kerry's corner in Florida
NOTE:(That's exactly the way it is in the article folks.)

<snip>

LONDON (AFP) - George W. Bush has a bust of Winston Churchill in the Oval Office, but John Kerry (news - web sites) has his great-granddaughter.

Emily MacManus, 21, is spending the summer as an intern in the Florida field office of the Democratic presidential challenger -- and she's clearly no fan of Bush's brand of conservatism.

"The president might be a great admirer of Churchill," said MacManus, quoted in the Daily Telegraph newspaper in London on Tuesday. "I wish he'd take on some of his values."

"Churchill wouldn't have supported a war for no reason," she added, alluding to last year's US and British invasion of Iraq (news - web sites). "Bush has done the most appalling things to this country (the United States)."

Yeah, we think he's done some pretty appalling things too. In fact, the guys appalling. Appallingly corrupt, appallingly stupid, etc.....

1. I rated this baby a five! This is Huge!
This should be spread far and wide and if the roles were reversed it would be.

Say Kerry had a bust of Churchill in his office and Emily was an intern in the repuke field office in Florida..

Saying ..the Senator might be a great admirer of Churchill but I wish he'd take some of his values.

I wonder if this is big news back in England?

2. Churchill was an arrogant bulldog.
But when Hitler slammed his foot in the door, Churchill refused to remove it. It was because of him Britain managed to stay in the war.
