have you heard the new meme? kerry onLy spent 3 months in vietnam (it used to be 4, but now it's 3 and going on "aLmost 3 months").. and he's trying to use that as proof that he's a Leader!

i know i've seen it in some op/eds but now i'm seeing at Least 1 LTTE a day using the meme (usuaLLy foLLowed by "but was he done for the past 15 years?").

My other thought on this, if John Kerry was given his medals (by our government) for "nothing" injuries, then have all the other purple hearts and other medals given to the soldiers are of no importance too? Maybe all these other's should be investigated also!

They're bringing in monitors for this election and Kerry said he'd have lawyers on standby. On his site he said he'd have 2000.

Then it was 6000 by someone else's count.

Last night on CNN a guy from Bush's campaign said 10,000. Geez, are they gonna draft the lawyer's next? Edwards may need to get a deferment.

Firstoff, he did TWO TOURS OF DUTY. His first tour was 6 months in the Gulf of Tonkin. He didn't see combat during this time, but he was THERE. Then during his SECOND TOUR OF DUTY, he was there for 4 months in a Swiftboat on the Mekong where you had an 82% chance of being killed.

What these people are doing is the ultimate in hypocrasy. They have "support the troops" bumperstickers on their trucks but here's someone that VOLUNTEERED for war and SAW COMBAT and they try to tear him down. I wish I could puke all over these hypocrites.

for pointing this out. I've tried, over and over, to make this point. Unfortunately, with all the noise, no one seems to get it. Kerry was already there, in a position that was not without its own hazards, and then he volunteered for really hazardous duty and was rotated back because of multiple injuries. He then volunteered for further hazardous duty in bucking the armchair soldiers and telling the truth about the folly of another war of choice, pushed by a bunch of idiots similar to the bunch we have now.

I doubt a significant number of uncommitted/undecideds will make up their mind over the significance of Kerry's wounds (I heard called scratches) or the time he spent in Vietnam.

If people want to worry about credibility merely turn the focus onto the only American president who has ever said he is working hard everyday to find new ways to harm our country.

Bush's statement would seem like a slip of the tongue if we didn't have mounting evidence that what he said was true.
