Porter Goss CIA Chief
Edited on Tue Aug-10-04 07:28 AM by cynatnite
Bush named good ole buddy Porter to take over for Tenet.

A nice Florida fishing buddy.

I was wondering why Kerry wasn't doing much in Florida. I think he knows he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell in getting that state. Hmmmmm

Forgot this part:

MSNBC Breaking News
------------------------------------------------------

Bush to name Porter Goss new CIA chief - President to announce appointment of Goss, head of the House intelligence committee, later Tuesday.

2. Obviously you haven't been to Florida....
because even in GOP bastion Winter Park, Florida Kerry is out ahead of Bush.

3. EVERY democrat and some Repugs said "NO POLITICIAN" for this
position. The King says this is who I want because he is a repug... why does he have to always do the wrong thing?

4. Interesting AM - we learn Las Vegas Terror Alert based on finding 97 video
of area - 7 years old data!

And Porter Goss who never saw a GOP intel crime that he did not want to cover up is nominated in an attempt to get Dems to oppose so as to have an election issue - soft on terror - in the fall against Kerry and the Dems.

Goss even was critical of CIA in last budget report - making him obviously fair as far as the media goes.

Well done Mr. Rove!

It is so easy to hate the GOP and our media - sigh ....

Seems old data for terror alerts is old news now so the latest con job - Las Vegas - is not on the crawl.

And we inspect the passenger list for the helio ride at 33rd street in NYC - damn they are good.

And the terrorists noted how easy it was for limo to get to Pru's Broad Street building while trucks are inspected - so limo's are chased - and not one word about the obvious stupidity of the terrorist in not finding out about the Newark / Pru 2 and 3 story tunnel system that is the real weak link.

God, our terror folks do tell us truth - and our media is not just a reprint machine for the GOP.

:-(

5. Only for another 100 days so hope he doesn't get too comfortable.
He is still concerned with any blue dress that may come along and certainly not subversion.
