When the HELL is the DNC/Kerry gonna open up and UNLOAD on Shrub??
For the last 2 weeks, I've seen NOTHING but Shrub ads on national programs... nothing at all on Kerry. I know Kerry is having to hold back and conserve the 75 Mill till Shrub is under the same limit (if he does)... but where's the bundle that the DNC was gonna use between now and then...

and where's all the 'other' ads? (MoveOn, etc..)

Rope-a-dope is one thing.. but JEEZE...

8. Texas is a given for the GOP
I'm glad W is wasting money there and the Dems aren't. That is like Alabama...I haven't seen a single Dem ad, and I hope they don't show one because it would be a waste of money.

15. Do your own counterattack-write a letter to the editor or take out
an ad in your local paper.

Labor Day. We don't want it to go down the memory hole.

5. Do you think that this bloated, overlong election process...
...will ever be reformed, e.g., a shorter campaign period, mandatorily provided equal airtime for all candidates, public financing of candidates, etc--within our lifetime? I find it such a waste of money and resources thrown at US political campaigns, especially when seen against the much saner and shorter process in other western democracies.

6. i'm in one of the "newer" swing states
and there's plenty of Kerry getting out there! we got blasted with him this week, playing off FDR doing the small town train stops. i think their working it, keeping their campaign positive, letting * blow it both in his campaign and on the job. it seems to be working so far.

10. Kerry's running one ad in battleground New Mexico
It features a few outtakes from his convention speech. There have been a handful of 527 ads from Moveon.org and one other. The rest have all been Bush, and he's trying to go positive. As annoying as his 100% negativity was, this latest "honest John" ad is simply nauseating.

Kerry typically opens up in the stretch. I'm expecting him to blast Bush after the coronati..er, convention.

13. heavy DNC and Bush moving forward ads in Detroit
it's a bit mind numbing and apparently having little to no effect on the MI polls.

Images of Najef mirroring Beirut don't play well in this high Arab% population.

14. hard to unload on Bush
When you basically say that you're for everything he is, but more!

DNC might pull this one out of their ass only because of the level of hatred for Bush, but I'm going to be holding my nose when I punch my ballot for him. My "veterans for Kerry" bumpersticker is getting replaced by one that says "Defend America, Defeat Bush".

16. Like Andy Card said, you don't put out new product in August.
From a marketing point of view, which is what the Bush Administration is - a pack of marketers.

Have patience. This is an endurance race, not a sprint.
