Does anyone have any info on the companies Teresa Heinz-Kerry owns?
As to how many of them are US based and if John Kerry's platform is going to make her move them back to the US if they were moved offshore to avoid income taxes.

1. Heinz Kerry does not own heinz. 2. People make Heinz products in foreign countries for foreign people to consume.

What does your staunch repuglican say about Dick and Halliburton?

the U.S. economy. Almost any policy position could be interpreted
as "conflicting" or "benefiting" Teresa.

5. Teresa holdings are less than 4%
you can find that on snopes

http://www.snopes.com/politics/kerry/heinz.asp

But how about this one:

http://www.mindfully.org/Reform/2003/Cheney-Halliburton-Lautenberg25sep03.htm

Senator Frank Lautenberg Releases CRS Report
Confirming Cheney's Deferred Salary and Stock Options

<snip>
Halliburton Stock Options Held by Vice President Cheney (current to end of 2002):

* 100,000 shares at $54.5000 (vested), expire 12-03-07 * 33,333 shares at $28.1250 (vested), expire 12-02-08 * 300,000 shares at $39.5000 (vested), expire 12-02-09

The Vice President's deferred compensation and stock option benefits are in addition to a $20 million retirement package paid to him by Halliburton after only five years of employment; a $1.4 million cash bonus paid to him by Halliburton in 2001; and additional millions of dollars in compensation paid to him while he was employed by the company.

-----

I guess Cheney is just making sure that he has a nice retirement income once Edwards replaces him in 2005.

10. Thanks to everyone for input
I made him play the WMDs are in Iraq. They just have to find them and they will. I asked him if they had found any in Iraq and he said yes. I said prove it. He could not then he mentioned the Turkey farm and I said that is not in Iraq that was in Libya. And this guy graduated from college.

11. It's good to post questions about the Republican lies that are being told
Whenever BushCo starts to point fingers at somebody else, it's a sure bet that they are trying to cover their own bad behavior.

Cheney and Bush and other Republicans are the ones with conflicts of interest over the Iraq war.

Bush is the one who flip-flops.

Bush is the one with the lousy military record.

Cheney is the one with the foul mouth.

See the pattern? Everything they do that is bad gets projected onto somebody in Kerry's campaign.
