Pickles: "I SO need a drag right now...."

First Lady Laura Bush admires a quilt that will be raffled off to raise money for women millitary veterans. Mrs. Bush visited a quilt shop in Waite Park, Minn., Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004 to campaign for her husband. (AP Photo/Jim Mone, Pool)

1. Memo to Laura: You're millionaires - buy a new suit.
How many times have we seen the sea-mist-foam-green-whatever pants suit?

3. Actually, it's not the same old pantsuit...
...that's just the standard Stepford Laura model, and they get a couple free customs with bulk orders of the standard.

18. Okay, now I've lost it completely.
That's EXACTLY what she's thinking, tridim.

I do a little quilting myself, and as I was working on the latest a few minutes ago, I recalled this thread and I just lost it completely.

Quilting requires enormous patience and dedication and attention to detail, ALL THINGS THESE ASSHOLES HAVE NONE OF. And that the women who put their time and patience into this quilt are doing so TO RAISE MONEY FOR VETERANS who ought to be taken care of by the government is just appalling.

Of course, GEORGE never fulfilled his military obligation, so what does he know of service? Or unca Dick or DeLay or Wolfowitz or the rest of those lying sacks of roach feces. And then Pickles has the frickin' NERVE to show up . . . .

It's the juxtaposition that gets me. Quilting has always been a traditionally women's art form, and for it to now be turned into a means of supporting war. . . . . goddess allfuckinmighty, it just makes my head spin.

You don't develope those deep creases over night , takes years and is very common among smokers.

They can be seen much better as you watch her talk on television.

So much for her Betty Crocker image the repukes love throwing at the country!
