Waterbug Folk Music Anti-Bush CD
http://www.waterbug.com/
Just received this email and thought I'd pass it along. Hope I chose the correct forum.

Dear Friends,
We're going into production on an anti-Bush administration/pro-humanity song/spoken word collection, called "Vote in November/Election 2004 Anti-Theft Device".
We raised the money at Falcon Ridge to get the first pressing
going, to get it to radio. We'll make and distribute one for every $1 received, looking into getting them to college students in swing states. You can help fund this, and get a few copies to give away yourself at www.waterbug.com.
There will be mp3's up within a day or two, download 'em, please feel free to burn 'em, give 'em away. I recall the house impeachment hearings in 1974, and the implacable moral force of Barbara Jordan: "The issue is the constitution."
And it still is.

"How goes the war on terror, George?
It's a war, George, can anyone win?
The world needs peace, freedom and justice
It's a long road, but - why not begin?"
from "The Civilised World, Les Barker

"Axis of evil, hell, it's just the daily life
Of people pushed to the wall by a crazy man's knife"
from "Mercy," Kate McDonnell and Anne Lindley

"We gotta build them schools
We gotta build them banks
We gotta build them pipelines
From their fields to our tanks."
-Chuck Brodsky, from "Dangerous Times"

"I have a bed with a Superman blanket
He's not afraid of the dark like me
But sometimes I can't fall asleep like I'm supposed to
I'm thinking about something
I saw on TV
There was this house in a field full of houses
It was the bad guys living in there
And I saw this kid, looking out of a window,
And he didn't look bad, he only looked scared."
-from "Two Kids" by Anais Mitchell

1. The Wumper Steve Gillette
2. Mercy Kate McDonnell

3. Bush Must Be Defeated Dan Bern

"Deep in my heart, I do believe
We shall live in peace, one day.
And if I'm born a thousand times,
That's where I'll stand.
That's where I'll stand." -Sue Demel
