How dare he not offer Hillary Clinton the chance to be a heart beat away from the Presidency because her and her supporters want it and that matters much more than picking a running mate who he feels comfortable with.

I'm also disgusted with his daft tactic of trying to begin a campaign against McCain because Senator Clinton could still win this if you use whatever meter she wants to use today besides, of course, the currently accepted standard of delegates.

Just putting "as an Obama supporter" at the beginning of your post
doesn't necessarily make it so. Some of us are smart enough to
see through it.

16. I hate to be a dick
but if you were smart enough to see through it, maybe you could have seen how far my tongue was in my cheek?

Anyways, I've become quite the fan of prefacing every message with, "I support so and so, but this is a really bad thing they are doing." It makes for a great post every time

20. Unfortunately, these days it's getting impossible to discern sarcasm.
So many posts here look like they should be sarcasm, but are in fact serious.

12. Conceding to a divisive force
is hardly required before that divisive force has even conceded he HAS that choice. It is hardly a shrewd tactic to not go in a direction already denied you by a rival.

Nothing is more important than picking a true partner as a running mate who can continue and support his policies in a specific time when every division is played against the American people and every threat against Obama, including threats by destructive fans of a defeated rival. Under some twisted logic he might as well shrewdly choose McCain as his running partner.

Hillbill will be #2? To follow President Obama around to his rear and bow down to his orders? (Cheney is the exception as VP's go) That is not why HillBill is running for President. That is just exactly what it is today for the most part. Women as #2. I want a man as VicePres. to President Obama.

22. No
He should concede the nod to her because she was entitled to it. He should also apologize for being better at running a campaign and actually knowing how to win within the rules of the game. Then he should slip into obscurity.

That is the only way to unify our party.

so they'll just see that as condensending.

I think they should both campagin against McCain and ignore each other until convention.

Insanity is making a joke.

I'll even allow it's a funny joke.

It's a joke at Hillary's expense.

Obama supporters who don't get the joke --should go back for remedial education.

sheeeesh.
