Alan Keyes's quote
Edited on Tue Aug-10-04 11:50 PM by ParisFrance
I'm sure we all know what he said, nevertheless I will share a quote of his.

"I deeply resent the destruction of federalism represented by Hillary Clinton's willingness go into a state she doesn't even live in and pretend to represent people there, so I certainly wouldn't imitate it."

5. Since it's very doubtful the DEMs of Illinois will actually do with that
what they should........ since you have the quote, I'd respectfully suggest sending it to all the state newspapers you can find.... maybe with help from Illinois DUers.

This deserves to be spread All Over!

10. Damn Straight...
I'm glad I'll have the chance to vote against this blowhard in November...as will the other members of my family.

This "candidacy" will live in history of one of the worst candidacies...and could destroy his decrepid party worse than it already had.

A few months ago, I was concerned the black community wasn't energized and as ready to throw out this regime as I was...No More! The outrage there will drive up black voting numbers statewide and that could mean trouble in the collar counties.

Yep, the fine folks of Illinois have been always done the right thing and this travesty will cost the Repugnicans dearly in this election and in years to come.

Greetings and welcome to DU from the NW burbs.

Cheers!

14. As Bill Maher put it...
"I know that just because somewhere between the ages of 18 and 60 john kerry happened to change his mind makes him a flip flopper." :)

12. another sign satire is dead in America....
Real life is satire! The only reason they chose this schmuck who never was influential enough to be a has been is because they can run off his running off at the mouth!

How sad that Illinois, the Land of Lincoln, the epitome of Republicanism, must resort to calling in an extremist mercenary
whacko to run for the United States Senate....Once again they show their contempt for the people, their wishes be damned!

Just another way to funnel money to the GOP I don't see it any other way...he's good at driving the wedge, and the that's about it...
