Folks, Bush is the Desperate One
He sees his poll numbers and is doing everything to slime Kerry. As an incumbent, he wouldn't have to be so negative unless he were behind. Incumbents usually stay above the fray when they are ahead. Instead, the only chance for Bush is to slime the opposition, since Americans clearly think Bush is incompetent and favor a change in administrations. We are ahead and Bush is panicking.

1. Agreed
But cornered animals are more dangerous than ever. Nothing would surprise me, at this point.

5. I agree with RebelYell
It's going to get supernasty until November. It sucks, but it's up to us to do our part. Letters to the Editor everyday. If anyone you know is repeating any of the lies being fed to them by the "liberal" media, don't let them finish and set them straight. Whatever it takes to affect any kind of positive light on Kerry.

2. Noticed that, huh? The man just can't stand up under pressure
which should hsve been made obvious by the loyalty cards at the GOP rallies. If only those Stepford voters could understand the contempt the top GOPukes have for them.

But then again, they probably deserve it.

4. It is not in his nature
to remain 'above the fray' even if he were way ahead.

That's why he has to be muzzled by handlers all the time. His instinctive reptilian brain is always in strike mode.

7. But, but, CNN says the race is neck-and-neck!!
Bill Schneider said Kerry got no bounce!!

Who am I gonna believe, them, or my lying eyes?

Kerry addresses a crowd in Republican-leaning Grand Rapids, MI.

9. Think about this though.....
....if the media was reporting that Kerry had a good 25% lead over Bush (like we know has to be true), wouldn't voters just stay away from the polls, thinking the outcome is evident and their vote wouldn't count?

I say let the media say what they will, Kerry is way ahead and will win IF Bushco doesn't attempt to steal the victory.

8. It doesn't matter
That man has absolutely no record to run on. He's made an unholy mess of everything he's touched, just as we said he would. He's a failed businessman who is an even bigger failure in government, where big failures kill people.

He's got to be negative. He's got nothing to run on.

His team has noticed that 100% negativity has hurt him, so they've hustled out a touchy-feely ad about how he thinks people are better off when they own things. How very Repuglican, how very materialistic, how very unrealistic since his rotten policies have made that impossible.

My guess is that the negativity will be stepped up.

11. Just remember, he is still fighting from a position of power
We are winning the battles, but the war is still a tossup. He is still well financed and not above using some of the filthiest tricks in the books. We cannot trust Bush and we cannot afford to underestimate what he is willing to do to stay in office.

I fear what he will do between Nov and January when he loses.
