Which child to pick up on 9/11?????????????
I'm a mom, I don't get it. I admit, I only have one kid and he's in college and I wasn't in New York or DC. No trauma.

But I do NOT think that one of the most awful things about 9/11 was trying to decide which child to pick up. And I don't think anyone else will either. I've been trying to figure out what would be traumatic about it unless your kid was near ground zero. Such a small audience. Is he trying to get us to feel the pain of those parents????? Is that pain worse than wondering if your loved one was in one of the buildings?

Who the hell is he talking to with this ad? Will it work?

1. It's a ridiculous ad
It's just a feeble attempt at fear mongering, and a pitiful one at that. Only the most dense dittohead won't see right through it.

3. that's what I thought
but fear mongering ought to stir some emotion and this doesn't.

Strange. I'm thinking they had some focus group but who?

Odd.

4. I know a mom who had one daughter in NYC, the other in DC on 9/11
This is an insult to her and to all the other parents out there who had to sit for hours waiting, praying, screaming, crying, and wishing everything would turn out okay.

Bush can kiss my parenting ass.

8. Focus Group
Well, would anyone in their right mind say 'this ad blows'? I mean this is the same group that requires loyalty oaths. No dissent allowed.

7. And yet HE'S the one who ignored the 9/11 widows for years...
He's concerned about parents deciding who to pick up? Too bad he wasn't all that concerned for the 9/11 widows when he basically ignored them for two fucking years by not starting the 9/11 commission. Then he had the audacity to try to get Kissinger to lead the damn thing.

While we're at it, shouldn't he have been concerned for NYC parents when he received the daily brief titled "Bin Laden Set To Attack Inside the US"?? Somehow going on VACATION doesn't translate to compassion. Funny how that works.

10. He wasn't worried @ any children on 9 11

He sat still in a room full of minority children on 911. He knew exactly what was happening and put them at risk.

As a father/husband he should have made sure that Andy Card told him that his own kids were safe. Andy Card did not reassure him about Pickles and the twins. Nor did he ask!

I loved John Edwards for the way that he put his family first on that day.He was normal, he cared about his family.

Bush should give us a break and come clean. He didn't care about anyone other than GWBUSH. He was flying around in the air in a holding pattern and worried about his own butt.

Hurry Nov 2 - Hope is on the way!

I couldn't figure out what on earth he was talking about.

Is there an elementary school in the World Trade Center where parents come by and pick up their kids?

13. Just another way that Bu$h tries to exploit
children and the memory of 9-11 for his political gain. Just like he exploited the children at Booker Elementary for his political gain.
