Bush has started three wars that he doesn't know how to finish.
Edited on Thu Aug-12-04 07:53 AM by stellanoir
After days of the "not so swift boating" deluge, I woke up with the previous phrase in my head.

"Three Wars" differentiates the "War on Terror" from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

If anybody has the graphic skills which I so clearly lack, and is inspired to put this phrase on T shirts or bumper stickers, I'm sure they'd find a market as the phrase cuts through the illusion of *'s "great leadership".

Isn't one of the primary tenets of war to "know one's enemy?"

Flowers and candy indeed.

13. LOL. . .a hell of a celebration for sure.
There is such a blackout of news from Afghanistan, it's kind of creepy.

In Iraq, many of the bloggers refer to Alawi as America's Saddam.

And did you see this. . .?

"The hand-over that wasn't: Illegal Orders give the US a lock on Iraq's Economy."

http://www.commondreams.org/views04/0805-07.htm

It explains how Bremer made sure before his departure that all Iraqis be economically enslaved by foreign corporations for the next 40 years.

Truly disgusting.

3. And the Next Bush War will be no different.
The Next Bush War should be a campaign issue. If Bush wins he will invade another country.

7. Yeah
and if anything happens to the Iman Ali mosque, all of Islam (especially the Shia's-Iran is predominantly Shia) will be irrevocably enraged. Just heard someone (sounded Arabic) describing the mentality coming out of the WH as being far worse than the Taliban, in that the Taliban destroyed the ancient Buddist scupture, and the Americans are destroying an entire culture. Ughhhh.

9. you're right I did omit that one.

Say four if you want to go through the trouble of explaining it. It could be argued that Reagan started the class war but *'s extremist policies definately inflamed it.

It wasn't there. I posted #9 after you posted yours and you're welcome.

I just was trying to keep it simple. You could argue also for
Wars. . .

against. . .civil liberties, constitutional rites, the rule of law, habeus corpus, the environment, national prosperity, national integrity, international respect, to poor. . .etc.

I'm sure there's more but I was thinking. . .bumper stickers and T shirts.

15. Here comes a new Bush war - in Africa!
This article from All Africa/Mauritius I found at evworld.com:
"US Deploying Forces to Oil-Rich Gulf of Guinea -
Nigerian oil assets viewed by USAF general as vital on American strategic and security interests...."
Reading the article it seems we have US Navy ships patroling the Gulf of Guinea now. What next? Bush's answer to all his troubles is to start a NEW WAR!
