I never knew you Californias were so stupid! Bush thinks that!!!
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=584&e=3&u=/nm/20040812/pl_nm/campaign_bush_dc

Bush made the accusation during a brief stop in the U.S. gambling capital before heading to California, where he was to appear with popular Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (news - web sites).

Aides said Bush would announce $320 million in federal assistance for California. The state holds 55 electoral votes in the presidential election, the most in the country. Polls give Kerry a wide lead over Bush there and the Bush campaign is hoping Schwarzenegger can give him a boost.

You know Bush, if you cared so much for helping Californians why didn't you do this when Gray Davis was in office and the state was suffering through the energy crisis? I guess it didn't matter back then since the election was a few years away.

I have a feeling that you Golden States are much smarter then what Bush thinks you are. This little tidbit of cash is nothing more than a carrot on a stick: a lameass attempt by Bush to win a state that will NEVER vote for him!

3. And the $320 million compares how?
In comparison to what his good friend "Kenny Boy" Lay and Enron stole from the state.

5. Oh yes we are that ignorant. Especially in the Brain Dead Valley
Valley brain deads love a tough talking empty suit. That is the mode out here. Any pussy with the money to buy a wiseguy clothing starter set, an SUV with 44 inch wheels, and a bush cheney sticker can pass for a tough guy. Think Scott Peterson.

6. but don't forget... the majority of Californians who chose to vote
in that election voted Arnold in. They didn't vote against the recall and they didn't vote for any other Dem in any number large enough to defeat Arnold.

They will so happy to see that money here in this state that they will turn their asses up in the air and decline the vaseline.

Right now, that carrot looks like an 8 course meal to this state.

8. Strangly, this reminds me of....
that scene in Batman when the Joker was throwing out money all over the city and asking them who they trust more him or Batman. We all know who won in the end. I've come to the conclussion that Bush reminds me a lot of the Joker. With his smirk, laughing about death. The giggling murderer as Mike Malloy likes to call him. But we all know who won at the end of Batman. :)

10. Not in Northern CA...
most of us voted against the recall and for Bustamente.

Ahhhnold will be the one who turns his ass in the air and he doesn't decline the vasoline -- so I've heard.

San Diego Co., Orange Co., and central CA are heavily Repub areas and they tilted the election much to the dismay of the rest of CA.

13. The majority did not vote Arnold in.
He got a plurality of the vote.

I'm happy for any money that comes our way. But Bush isn't going to buy our electoral votes.
