1. "Why won't the Kerry campaign follow my advice?"
Because you're a fucking idiot who couldn't devise an effective campaign strastegy to remove your candidate from a wet paper sack, that's why.

Not you, Feanorcurufinwe. :)

4. Exactly!
When I first began working for the JK campaign in DC last Summer,I opened mail and ran the auto pen (the signature machine). You wouldn't believe how many of the letters included 2 week-old WaPo articles with instructions on how JK should respond to the articles!

I know people mean well, but the armchair campaign managers are getting louder and shriller (is that a word?). We figure they feel helpless because they aren't involved at all (on any level) in the campaign, and they feel they have to help some way... and shouting is their only option at this point.

It's difficult to reassure people because campaign workers are vetted thoroughly, and there's that legally-binding confidentiality agreement you have to sign.

25. Sadly, that applies to the children making Kerry's message strategy
Edited on Thu Aug-12-04 11:55 PM by John_H
What? Did you get hired, Will?

How embarrassing is it when a CNN mediawhore asks "Did the Bush Campaign outmaneuver the Kerry campaign or is the Kerry campaign just inept." To which a fairly respected reporter replied "both."

Given the outrageousness of the Chimp campaign's lies and attacks, it seems to me Kerry is flailing around in a wet paper sack, and his unrapid response team is standing by, thinking real hard.

Maybe five minutes on DU a day, following the advice of the "amateurs" would do them some good.

13. "I don't think I can vote for Kerry because he's too hawkish."
Hey, he's too hawkins for me, too, but since that belief won't win any elections this year, so put it aside, damn it.

First things first. Get BushCo OUT. Then keep the right-wing media off of Kerry's back, and let him lead.

Usually stated by somebody who hasn't been ALIVE as long as *I* have been VOTING....

I didn't click the "Martial Law" option because I feel that is a REAL possibility, and if you don't understand it could happen this time, well, I can't help you. Hope you're getting enough air with your head down there in the sand....
