Bush March 4, 2001:". . .we must be sensitive about expressing our power"
Precisely because America is powerful, we must be sensitive about expressing our power and influence. Our goal is to patiently build the momentum of freedom, not create resentment for America itself. We pursue our goals; we will listen to others; we want strong friends to join us, not weak neighbors to dominate. In all our dealings with other nations, we will display the modesty of true confidence and strength.

4. Yeah, but when * talked about being sensitive,

Rummy, Wolfie, and the gang told him to quit being a Cheneying wimp and overruled him. They know they can't overrule Kerry or even intimidate him.

I wish people would talk more about the chimp's cocaine use. Since when do the pukes have so much respect for a Cheneying dopehead anyway? The poor numbskull's brain is totally wasted. And judging from his reactions to 9/11 he has got to be on some really heavy tranks. NOBODY is that calm when their nation is attacked--not even a moran.

I'm glad to see how quickly bigtree (and the researcher for the Randi Rhodes show) pulled up this quote, and how quickly a lot of respected military people responded to the attack. I don't know who put it on his teleprompter, but one thing you can never accuse this (p)resident of is being sensitive. And as for modesty, remember the golf scenes in F9/11? He needs attention and he needs to be applauded, even when he isn't doing anything. Okay, okay, we're watching, go ahead and drive. Yeah, great shot, man, great shot. This isn't a grownup--this is a child.

5. It must have taken hundreds of hours of preparation

to enable the chimp to pronounce all those big words.
