New poll Kerry leads Bush 48% to 44%
In the latest Economist national survey, Sen. John Kerry leads President Bush 48% to 44%. In addition, 57% say they are disatisfied with "the way things are going" and 53% disapprove of how Bush is "handling his job as president."

1. I take it that the 5%
who disapprove of how Bush is handling his job and aren't voting for Kerry must be planning to vote third party. I can't see how anyone who thinks Bush is a lousy president could vote for him.

2. Barely beating the MOE
And Bush will wipe that out with the RNC. Wake up people it's slipping away from us.

3. I don't think so...
I think national polls are meaningless, it's the state-by-state battleground polls that matter, and the margin for kerry in those states is way outside the margin of error, i don't see that reversing just because of a 4-day RNC 'EXTREME MAKEOVER'... :nopity:

4. Ummm... in case you haven't noticed we've been gaining in the polls.
And if you think the RNC is going to provide Bush* with any kind of bounce you're wrong. When people see all the protestors they'll know that Bush* has lost all his support he gained from 9/11.

5. Kerry leads Bush outside the MOE and you use that occasion to say
Wake up people it's slipping away from us.

Based on what evidence?

And Bush will wipe that out with the RNC.

I'll bet you $50 you are wrong. I'm betting on Kerry, if you want, you can bet on Bush. Is it a bet?

15. OK, you are betting on Bush, I am betting on Kerry
If Bush is in the lead after the RNC, I owe you $50, if not you owe me.

It's nice to know where we stand.

But what about this:

Wake up people it's slipping away from us.

Based on what evidence? Please answer.

21. The $50 is on the election. He'll get a bounce after the RNC
but not necessarily 10 minutes after. And he'll pull some more on sleaze after that. Terra talk, war talk, management of the news Rove won't be shy to use any of it and it will work because a majority of Americans are "Morans"

Here's hoping you win.

18. The Gallup Poll Is Interesting....
Kerry has leads in FL, OH, NY, PN, MI,CA....

It's hard to explain but it's mathematically impossible to be leading in all those populous states and be losing in Gallup's horse race.....
