Poll question: Obama is at risk of not blowing this election. Who should he pick as VP to ensure failure?
It's a longstanding tradition in the Democratic Party to blow super important elections. The problem with a life-long problem solver and self proclaimed "agent of change" like Barack Obama is that he may fail to uphold this tradition. We all want to see more available healthcare for the nation's uninsured, but Obama may actually do something about it. We all want the occupation of Iraq to end, but Obama seems to actually have a plan to bring our troops home.

This must not stand. We're Democrats, dammit. We cannot afford to blow this chance to fail in this year's election. Our last chance to blow it all will be when Obama selects his vice presidential running mate. Who is the best worst choice Obama can make?

10. I can't believe you put Obama Girl on the list!
She'd win this thing hands down!

Seriously though, only two of those are tried and true failures: Lieberman (who sunk a ticket, IMO), and Ferraro, who at one time I loved dearly, but have lost all respect for over the last year, but still would not by any means consider a failure.

So Lieberman it is, far and away.

21.  Richardson would drag the ticket down? I'd say he's one of the strongest MALE picks, but Obama ...
really really needs to run with a woman on the ticket this year, and PREFERABLY NOT HILLARY, but a woman with LOW negatives and baggage, who is positively charismatic and sunny, with a LONG foreign policy resume, who NEVER supported the Iraq War Resolution (IWR)

CA Sen Barbara Boxer -- bingo! (but if you're trying to lose, how about Dick Cheney? He's still eligible, not having been president, you know ...

14. Oh, yeah!
Joe Lieberman was such an excellent choice for Gore! Cause he was in danger of not securing that CT blue state. What a stupid VP choice. When there were dems from FL who he could've picked. Who helped him pick that Veep? jus wunnerin.
