One simple question for Obama's Church in Chicago

Why in the HELL do you still allow cameras?

1. They probably have a ministry outreach program for the disabled

who want to attend the church but are unable to. The MSM just loves to buy their religious tapes to try to score political points. There's something fundamentally wrong about that intention if you ask me.

2. You can bet we will see all of this footage

in the Republican television commercials this fall. Obama needs to quit this church or he will be sunk. Even I get pissed off when I hear the way these pastors talk. It is racism against whites and it is ugly. If anyone talked that way in my church, I would walk out and never look back. These men are his spiritual advisor's? This sermon was just last weekend from what I understand, so we can not use the excuse that it was a long time ago as in the case of Rev. Wright. If Obama does not distance himself immediately from this church, we are going to lose in the fall. His apologies for the actions of those in his own church are falling flat.

He faces an assault that will make whitewater and swiftboat look like child's play. we all know that; he knows that. And that is if there were nothing about his church to throw at him. Regardless of any rationalizations about whether he agreees or approves, yada yada, this is raw meat for the jackals, and he, frankly, owes it to the Democratic Party and the country to shed himself of it. He has managed (99.99%) to secure the nomination over seven other candidates, at least four or five of whom would have had less of an uphill battle against the rw smear machine, given the prevalence of latent (or overt) bigotry in the country. OK, so he's earned the nomination the old fashioned way - by convincing people and getting their votes. Bully for him. Now we need to freaking win the GE, desperately need to win the GE, and he needs to face facts and do the right thing.

4. That church is run by the people in it.

Used to be a joke in and around NE that it is the church that has to vote if they want a cross inside and they are known to put up weather vanes and not crosses on the bell tower. One place is said to have a beer bottle on the tower. Having grown up in the Congressional church I just re-call all that stuff. I am still a member. It is not very 'to the book' if you get what I mean. It is an old church.

8. Even if they didn't allow cameras, someone can always carry in a camera phone or tape recorder.
