Chris Matthews on Morning Joe laughed on air when watching the pastor video
You could tell he was trying to hold it in, looking away from the camera and all, but the 'Oh Daaammmnnn!' part brought the laughter out.

1. Well the priest's comments may be politically incorrect, but...
... it *is* damn funny! :-)

10. The priest jokingly mocked Hillary.
He did sort of a comedy skit for a couple minutes mocking Hillary crying back in January and said she was crying because a black man stole her spot (nomination).

It looked like something out of Def Comedy Jam to me. I don't think it's a big deal.

Obama denounced his comments. The priest apologized. That's it.

Fox News was playing the clip all day yesterday. Now, the other networks are following their footsteps and talking about this stupid crap all morning today.

3. Made me laugh too.
And it looked to me like it made the priest laugh right along with the rest of us.

5. It was funnier than most SNL skits.
Don't know how anyone can take it seriously, but I'm sure there are those who will. Mika sure was trying hard to make it a story. I'm to beleive that this is so much worse than Clinton asking if Obama needs another pillow? That was directly from one candidate to another and it was found acceptable.

7. Oh god. Mika, Willie, and Mike are being terrible
Mika is talking about what a huge story this is and Chris Matthews is just like "Um...I don't really get yet why this is a bigger story than scott mcclellan...we'll see if this story has legs, but I think the McLellan thing and the fact that the administration lied during the lead up to Iraq and during the Plame case is more important...."

15. I don't get why they think this is such a big story. Your post is a great example of how
screwed up the press is - the Priest saying something stupid v. Administration lying the Country into War - the Priest, who already apologized and was criticized by Obama, is the big story. :wtf:

17. last night, Dan Abrams said
, on the lead up to this "story", "Next, see what Fox news is trying desperately to make a story!" And then after they showed the clip, he was like "Ok, obviously this guy is an idiot, but why is this really a story worthy of coverage?" The Republican on the panel was trying to say that this was HUGE, and all of the other guests were laughing at him. MSNBC is no better than Fox.

18. Do You Think That This Is Why Scotty Said The Media Was Complicit........
in the Iraq war?

Instead of concentrating and reporting on the important - they try and make a story like this clip of the pastor the big story. Mika has fallen for it. Chris Matthews hasn't.

9. There is a big problem with this pastor's sermon
The problem is in the brutal honesty displayed.

16. I laughed too. Like I said above, it was like Def Comedy Jam for a couple of minutes.
It may not be appropriate in the pulpit, but it's not like he's the only one on the planet who thought or said the same thing.
