2. It was pretty good report
Didn't say if the Bush approach to rallies was good or bad. I think many independents will note the clear difference between the SIZE of Kerry's Oregon rally (they showed video at the start of the segment) and the absolutely piddlin' Bush crowd in a room no larger than a hotel ball room.

4. this is great, actually
it is hard to believe, but it seems that some of the media is starting to allow themselves to admit that emporor has no clothes!

6. Overdue for media to start pointing out the campaign differences
We had to hear all about how the Democratic convention was orchestrated and stage managed (which I liked since it impressively showed that Democrats can be efficient and organized and keep to a strict timetable) but nothing has been mentioned in the media until this past week about how ALL of the Bush/Cheney events are staged and strictly controlled compared to the open Kerry rallies.

7. I'm starting to think they are all idiots...
the repubs I mean. How do they think they will sway the 10% undecided if they can't get into the party? I mean it is fine with me. I hope Bush turns away scores and scores--I'm sure we(Kerry/Edwards) will accept all. "Give us your tired, your weak, and those turned away from the Bush campaign. Help and hope is on the way."

8. overdue, but it's never too late to be on the side of the light ...
no wonder freepers have been working/asking to black out CBS -- not only on a couple of boards (I'm told), but also with co-workers (direct experience of mine) -- my own response to co-workers is that I have also already added CNN to FAUX to my "skip" programming on our TV's; I sent an atta-boy e-mail to CBS

9. Well, I thought it was a bit lame....it sort of was "soft"....the
strongest point was how Bush sometimes didn't get questions, only praise or agreement....

There was no mention of signing loyalty oaths and reactions from whose
who feel that any citizen has the right to see a President without signing a loyalty oath...

That would have made the report much stronger...and gotten to a very potent issue....
