One thing to remember about MI and FL
There was no effort by any campaign to get on the ballot on either state. The state parties put our candidates on the ballot without a signature drive or the filing of paperwork that is necessary normally to place your name on a ballot. The reason the states did this is because such an effort would constitute a campaign by the parties involved and would be a violation of the rules they agreed to at the beginning of this process.

No candidate asked to be on the FL or MI ballot and the normal process was not followed because FL and MI knew that their elections were in violation of the DNC rules.

1. But you also need to take into consideration who those in control of the state parties
are supporting.

I'm just sayin'...

3. This is a valid point, Jake.
It will be interesting to see if this plays into the decision making process today.

5. I agree to abide by the decision of the R&BC even if I think they're wrong.
It's the 'Obama' thing to do.
