9. What is he going to say?...
He knows Harkin is right, and he knows the rest of the free world knows it too.

10. You know I wonder
I'm glad Harkin said that. It's what I and many of us here have been thinking for a long time. It needed to be said a long time ago. Like say in the build up to the war. But I'm glad it's coming out now. Cheney deserves all the ridicule we can heap on him.

I wonder if Harkin was approached by the Kerry team to say something like this or if it was just a fealing that the guy had and he went with it?

12. My guess
is that Harkin did this on his own. He is usually about a month ahead of the curve on these things. I think the Kerry camp will run with this when Harkin gets it out in the vocabulary of the nation when thinking about the Cheney/Bu*h cabal.

For example, after the invasion and fall of the Saddam statue, Harkin was ridiculed for calling Iraq under Saddam a "paper tiger" and when he said that the hard work and deaths of American men and women would be in the next few months - while Bush jetted onto the aircraft carrier declaring Mission Accomplished - he was called reckless by the Repukes. Now I hear the paper tiger analogy more and more.

Go Tom! Give 'em hell Harkin!

11. He'll call on Kerry to distance himself from Harkin's remarks
and then go right back on the offensive. Probably back to the serious matter of Kerry's sensitive war on terror.
