John O' Neil and Vietnam
What did John O' Neil do during Vietnam? Was he involved in any of the fighting?

1. Sure was.
He won a Bronze Star I think. Was there for about a year. Swift boat commander. Real war hero stuff.

He's also a lying, soulless piece of crap and a shill for Nixon and Karl Rove.

2. Bronze Star, eh?
But that doesn't mean anything though, does it. Because we all know the military isn't careful about how it awards medals like Purple Hearts, Bronze Stars and Silver Stars. Why, Mr. O'Neil himself says so, and he's a Decorated War Hero...

3. Good summary.
He's a vet and we certainly shouldn't impugn him for that. We shouldn't run smear campaigns against John O'Neill's work under fire in Vietnam. We SHOULD, however, give him hell for his horrible actions under the orders of Richard Nixon and Karl Rove.

Notice how all these douchebags can do is try to impugn Kerry's war record? Are they giving him any crap for his senate votes? They tried floating those horribly spun D-side votes, but those never stuck. So they're trying to get him on one of his stronger aspects!

7. John O'Neill is a national disgrace. Deliberately lying about a brother
or sister in arms for political purposes is about as low as you can go. His repeated smear attempts on John Kerry indicate that he is a person of very low character.

If O'Neill was anything but a sociopathic RW republican shill, he would use his new notoriety to go on television and ask that George W. Bu$h make a public statement about being AWOL from the Air National Guard. We Americans must ask ourselves why he is not doing this. The only answer is that O'Neill is not interested in truth. His only design is, obviously, to slander and libel John Kerry with unsubstantiable rhetoric for political purposes. He has exposed himself as a sad and pathetic liar, and has made himself into a national joke.

Everyone, particularly veterans, should denounce this un-American lowlife.

8. Real Patriots Never Criticize the Military Sacrifices of Others
While Bush was hiding, Kerry was fighting

George aWol Bush

Under the law, "silence means consent." Bush by refusing to condemn the Smear boat ad, is endorsing it. Draw your own conclusion.

Why not address the issue of O'Neill and his cronies by writing to the media? Letters do help...Just be sure to include your tele number or it won't get published.

4. Lot's of history here

http://www.disinfopedia.org/wiki.phtml?title=John_E._O%27Neill

"In 1971, O'Neill squared off against Kerry on the Dick Cavett Show in a 90-minute, televised forum in which the two Vietnam War veterans sparred over the U.S. role in Southeast Asia.

"President Nixon and top aide Charles W. Colson had taken a keen interest in O'Neill as part of their effort to discredit Kerry and the anti-war movement, according to memos and tapes in the National Archives. A clean-cut Naval Academy graduate, O'Neill was viewed by Nixon's team as an effective messenger against Kerry, who was causing the administration headaches as the leader of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War.

14. Kerry's war record - Let's Turn The Tables on Them!
All the Republican crap and accusations about Kerry's war record. We should ignore them and refuse to answer.

There is one question, when it comes to the military records of the two candidates than we have to ask and ask often:

WHERE WAS GEORGE?

That should be our battle cry....WHERE WAS GEORGE?
