We forget sometimes..
that this election is more of a referendum on Bush than anything else. Voters will be looking at what Bush did during his four years in office and decide from there. Kerry is doing what he should do and stay out of the national lime light. He is instead using local media to get his message out and that seems to be working well. Everyone seems to want him to act like Gore is now, but remember that Gore's political career is basically over. Politicians aren't allowed to act like that, not because it is wrong, but because of voter perception. Could Kerry be doing more, maybe, but he just has to let things play out. The economy and the war in Iraq are working against Bush. That means Kerry can get his message out, while Bush has to answer questions concerning the economy and the war. We should all do out part to make sure that Kerry wins this election. If we are serious we will try to help out as much as we can, and who knows maybe the campaign will use one of our ideas. This will be a retrospective election, which may make things easier for Kerry. I don't know, but I'm still going to do my part to make sure we don't have "four more year of HELL."

1. Right, it's always about the incumbent; even if JFK's Iraq stance
is confusing or wrong to some, Bush ultimately is responsible for the war and everything else over the last four years.

Since the majority do not believe Bush deserves re-election, Kerry's job is really simple: just pass the threshold of an acceptable alternative.
