Bush's "six speeches" on Iraq

Joe Biden yesterday reminded us of something I'd forgotten about.

Remember Bush said he was going to give a series of six speeches outlining his plan for Iraq, heading up to the "handover"?

As far as I can find with Google, he gave TWO.

I join with Biden in asking, where the hell are the rest of our six speeches?

That's something I'll hit CNN with in my next e-mail for our virtual protest today. Hope everyone's paticipating. Among other things, I'll ask them why they never asked him about dropping the speeches about such an important topic. I thought he "meant what he said." Yeah, right. Another example of chimpwad sticking his finger in the wind. AND WHERE IS THE PRESS???

6. they're not even reporting Biden's comments

I can't find it anywhere.

One excuse I've heard a lot from journalists, explaining why they aren't tougher on Bush, is that they can only question him when the democrats do. First of all, that's bullshit, they don't have to wait for the dems before they remind us of these missing speeches.

Second, they very often ignore the dems. Case in point, Biden and the six speeches.
