New Presidential and Senate polls out of NC and KY
These are from Survey USA.

North Carolina
Bush: 51%
Kerry 45%

592 likely voters +/- 4.1%

(Note two other recent polls show a slightly closer race in NC--but it is clear that Bush is going to have to spend money and time in NC).

NC Senate:
Bowles: 50%
Burr: 42%
(This is good news--if Democrats are to win back the senate we need to keep many of these open senate seats).

NC Governor:
Easley: 51%
Ballantine:44%

Kentucky President:
Bush: 56%
Kerry: 39%
697 likely voters +/- 3.8%

4. two other polls
out today had NC within the margin of error.

Presidential races are more partisan than senate and congressional races.

10. ehh..
one poll does have him up by 12 (i forget which one). but burr has been running A LOT of ads lately which could account for closing the gap somewhat.

11. Probably running for dear life...
Kentucky is really full of dumbfucks. I was talkin' to one girl about the Iraq War and she was like "Why would we have attacked them if they didn't have any nuclear weapons, you're like Al Gore, you just want to give all them Muslims a hug!" and bullshit like that. I'm starting to think Kentucky is a lost cause.
