Why did the Kerry campaign agree to pro-Bush debate formats?
I read recently that at least two of the debates may involve the candidates sitting. WTF is up with that? Why would the Kerry people agree to those rules and give up the greatest advantage which is that side by side, Kerry looks way more presidential that bush. Kerry should have insisted on town hall meeting formats with questions from regular people. Any other format gives bush a chance to appear better than he really is.

1. Do you really think...
the media will show Bush and Kerry side by side in the sttanding debates? I bet they'll never be on camera together.

2. the last debate is usually the one with town hall
forum. Kerry will do just fine. I have no doubt about it.

3. I'd imagine it was because Bush said
You can have three my way, or just one your way.

4. So...
...They could stand up and Bush could walk out with a sock stuffed in his pants like he did on "Mission Accomplished Day". :-)

5. If the format called for Kerry to be asleep and Bush awake...
Kerry would likely win. I'm unconcerned about the format-I'm afraid Bush will refuse to participate for reasons of "national security".
