BUSH-CHENEY & THE POLITICS OF "TREASON"
Anyone wishing to use any or part of the following essay is welcome to do so.

We need to fight for John Kerry and get his views out into print nd the media. This media link is terrific:

THE POLITICS OF TREASON

The first characteristic of any dictatorship is subversion of the mass media followed by infringement of individual civil rights. Anyone scrutinizing performance of the news media will readily smell that something is very "rotten in Denmark."

Empowered yet impotent, rabbity reporters repeatedly fail to challenge and expose the duplicities of ALL our political leaders. When Bush split his crotch on Kerry’’s war record, no one seemed to notice. An objective examination of the Bush blabbers shows far more flips than Kerry, plus a long list of broken promises and policy failures killing Americans, depleting resources, and wasting billions of dollars.

Our national security has been severely weakened on all levels by these 8th grade mentality blunders to the extent that Bush has been forced to redeploy tens of thousands of US troops. Worse yet, it is probable if not certain that without new leadership that the draft will again be inflicted upon Americans.

Veterans unable to deal with Kerry's Vietnam dissent forget that true patriots never attack the personal sacrifices and views of another (decorated) veteran. This is particularly true for those like O'Grady who were as yet unborn or in diapers when Kerry was fighting. If John Kerry is guilty of "treason" then so are the majority of Americans who have over the decades have either overtly or tacitly embraced his views on the Vietnam War.

The real tragedy is that veterans who dislike Kerry are supporting Bush, a double-talking coward who has repeatedly ignored or short-changed them. Clearly their unhealed emotional scars are polluting reason and good judgment. The refusal of all loyal Americans including the news media to condemn Bush's unprecedented slanderous campaign of maggot-mouthed politics, back-stabbing, and negativity is shameful and un-American.
