2. It doesn't matter, what matters is the electorial votes . . .
Remember 2000 election. That's what the Republicans kept telling us, it's not the popular vote but the electoriate.

Kerry has more electorial votes according to the map on the home page of DU. As long as that stays, it will be bah bye Bush. Do you think he'll cry? I think he will kind of because I don't think his skin is as thick as he tries to put on.

3. I Agree...
Please keep in mind that the Electoral College follows but doesn't as we have learned exactly match the popular vote...

That being said it would be impossible to win the popular vote by a substantial margin and lose the EC....

5. It was 12 - 15 pts, Bush heavy.
The only national pollster to get it right was Zogby.

6. Not Exactly
Harris, CBS News, and Zogby all showed a small Gore lead or tie in their final pre election poll....

Gallup had it a 48% -46% race for * in their final pre election poll but they were all over the place in the final days of the campaign giving * a 52% -39% lead on 10-27-00

10. I just found it so amazing that ONLY in the 2000 election were the . . .
exit polls wrong. They had never been wrong before. Why were they wrong this time? Because Gore won the election.

Also, I got so tired of Baker, Bush, Cheney saying that the Dems were trying to keep them from counting the military vote. That was BS. It was because some of those votes had gotten in late, and that had happened before, and they never had to count late votes before, why should they now. They twisted it into another lie.
