This is really fascinating.... I suspect it just coincidental but ya gotta wonder if F9/11 has cut Bush off at the knees with swing voters.

1. Th Saudi Gov't was so threatened by him that they had to start crappy
radio ads (making them look foolish IMO)

3. I am no great moore fan
But I just thought it is interesting that the movie seemed to be right before the great surge.

4. A BIG diff, I think -- Dean-like -- people heard a non-media voice...
unfiltered. They heard things from Dean and Moore they'd never heard before. God bless them both, and others who've raised their voices with courage (Clarke, etc.).

5. His 7 minutes of Bush looking into empty space has gotten some legs

I'm hoping the DVD with special features comes out before the election. Maybe we will get all 7 minutes and cut footage of more mindless Bushisms.

6. Just my thoughts.
Those that have in the past are least likely to vote are the most likely to see F911. Lets hope voting will become "a cool thing to do".

7. It's really Bush's own words & actions that Moore had the guts to

expose on film. Since the "liberal media" fell down (& crashed & burned) on its job and he had to go around them for people to actually see & hear it. Spread out for the past 4 years, these clips & quotes didn't have the impact as they did when presented altogether on the screen to MAKE you think about it.

BTW, The Daily Show, Salon.com, DU and various bloggers, writers & columnists (Joe Conason, Gene Lyons, Al Franken, etc.) have steadily been waking us up and inspiring us to question and to do something. Franken's book educated Howard Stern enough to inform & mobilize his listeners. Retired military officials, Dale Earnhart, Jr. and others have opened people's eyes, and let's hope more will follow.

Like someone else above posted, Dean & Moore have probably made the biggest impact, and thanks to them and all the others who have followed. But ultimately, they (and we) couldn't have done it without the help of that great uniter, GWB.

13. Oh, because he was a green?
Nobody fucking cared who MM voted for in 2000...not a whole lot of people even knew who he was.

Did Gore lose Michigan by one vote?

12. Don't forget Howard Stern.
I'm really starting to feel that this thing is almost sowed up and Kerry will have to do something monumentally stupid to blow it.
The current behavior of the right are the actions of a truly desperate bunch of little scumbags.
